A job appears under Ready to write up the moment its checklist is ticked to 100%. Nothing here touches the live website until you merge it yourself.

1. Create case study. Most of the form is already filled in from the survey and the accepted quote. What it needs from you is the name it goes out under, the area, the timber and glazing, and a few lines describing the works. Write those lines properly: they are what the write-up is built from.
2. Build the page. This drafts the copy, builds the page on the website, adds the card and the sitemap entry, and opens a pull request. It takes half a minute to a minute, and the button counts the seconds while it waits. That is the website working, not a hang, so leave the tab alone until it finishes.
3. Preview it. The row gains a Preview button that stays there, so you can come back any time. It opens the finished page exactly as it will appear on the website. The copy is a draft about a real customer, so read it properly and check the name it is published under.
4. Publish. That puts it live on kensingtonsash.co.uk, in a minute or two. If the write-up is not right, edit the brief and press Rebuild instead, which drafts it again.
5. Photographs. The page ships with an empty image slot, as three of the existing case studies do. Put photos in the KS Website Photos folder on Drive under the job name and they can be added.

Not every finished job is worth writing up. Not one for us takes it off the list and records why.
